Driving 15 kilometers away from Chiang Mai city proper, we were able to see one of Thailand's sacred temples and a must-visit spot in Northern Thailand. Wat Phra That Doi Suthep or Doi Suthep Temple was named after the mountain in which it is located, Doi Suthep Mountain. The monks normally do their morning rituals during sunrise and evening rituals during sunset. And we actually missed the morning rituals when we arrived there. But it gave us more time to explore the temple itself. We also met some cute corgy dog family!
